The steel framing phase of construction tends to go very quickly. The temple will very rapidly assume, in skeletal form, the final shape of the completed building. Then visible progress will become slower and slower as construction shifts to the protective coating on the steel; the framing that fills in the walls; insulation; and exterior stone cladding; and then even slower as it shifts to interior work: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, flooring, carpeting, windows, and furnishings.
This is the phase of construction in which progress will be most visible and fastest. So keep the pictures coming!
Thanks for your comments Travis! I hope we can keep up with the speed of the temple construction! I figure wants the walls are enclosed, we will miss so much of what goes on inside so we better watch while we can now!
I have a question for anyone "in the know"....is there a significance for the hight of the crane? Sometimes that indicates the hight of the final project. Is that how high Moroni will be? We drove by last Sunday, and the sky had lots of dark clouds, but there was a ray of sunlight streaming through, landing on the temple (from our vantage point). We tried to photograph it, but it didn't come out. :~(
