Temple Chaser

My name is Cheryl Kanenwisher. I'm just a mom and member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I happen to be enthusiastic about a new temple to be built in the area in which I recently lived for 11 years and want to share my excitement with everyone I know. I have a testimony of my Savior, Jesus Christ and in the Restoration of His Church. I am not a spokesperson for the Church, this site is not affiliated with the Church, nor do I claim to know everything there is to know. I can however, point you in the direction of someone who does know. If you have any questions, I would be happy to show you how to get answers.

Formerly known as KC Mom, I'm a recently relocated Mom to the land of Dixie...that is....southern Utah.  I miss my KC home but I'm loving the desert lifestyle.

My name is Valerie Anderson and I am a simple woman.  I love won ton soup, the color teal and I am of the humble opinion that I can make the world a little bit nicer by serving my fellow man.  I am a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  I live close to the new Kansas City Temple, and stepped in to help photograph its construction process after Cheryl moved west last summer.  There is always a story going on at the temple and its grounds.  It isn't just the building and it's construction that I want to share, but the overall beauty of the mid-west skies and how it all works together to illustrate the power and majesty of our Heavenly Father and His master "construction" skills.  I am not a professional photographer.  You should know that it is the rare exception that I edit my work.  I believe when it comes to the temple photographs you should see them tell all their stories...including the cranes and bulldozers.  I hope you enjoy them.
